Lisa and Louise will share stories and strategies from wellbeing science and their own personal struggles of wrangling careers as educators in ECEC, to help you feel 'firster' and 'fabulouser'! APST 7: Engage professionally with colleagues, parents/carers and the community Presented by Louise Dorrat & Lisa Baker
Description
In our increasingly complex and demanding sector, we must continue to advocate for educator wellbeing. Children are important but to provide the best for them we need to be at our best too. We know educator wellbeing impacts ECEC quality but where do we begin when we are at the point of overwhelm and burnout?
In this presentation, Lisa and Louise will share stories and strategies from wellbeing science and their own personal struggles of wrangling careers as educators in ECEC, to help you feel 'firster' and 'fabulouser'!
Only by resisting the narrative that children come first, challenging the wellness myths and the stories we tell ourselves, can we develop our wellbeing and advocate for us!
