I’m a new leader…where do I start?

Presented by Philip Butler

Description

This webinar highlights a few key strategies and processes which can provide the right start for your leadership journey. First, we will look at the internal and external opportunities for leadership growth as we explore some of the driving forces behind the role of the leader and the responsibilities that come with it. You don’t need to be a born leader, and you don’t have to have all the answers. However, you need to have the right mindset and an understanding of how your leadership style sets the tone for everyone and everything. We will also take a closer look at ‘facilitative leadership’, and how you can utilise it to grow your teams’ skills, develop higher levels of individual accountability, and achieve your goals and vision for yourself and your team. Finally, we will also discuss some ‘leadership maintenance’ strategies. Strategies that will support you to; remain connected to your leadership and professional growth, develop effective support and reference networks, and empower your team to be the best they can be.
