Event Description
What am I meant to be reflecting on, and when am I meant to do it?
Presented by
Philip Butler
Everything there is to know about reflection—learn about reflective practices, reflection and critical reflection.
This webinar aims to introduce you to the reflective practice cycle. We will explore what should be reflected upon and the documentation requirements for our reflections. We will also discuss how our reflections can lead to deeper insights into our beliefs and practices. In the past, reflective thinking has been seen as an ‘add-on’ or a task that teams put off until the end. Learn about the difference between a reflection and a critical reflection and how to incorporate these practices into your continuous improvement process, individually and as a team.
Completing What am I meant to be reflecting on, and when am I meant to do it may contribute one hour of PD that aligns with the NESA (NSW) approved criteria and addresses:
The Australian Professional Standards for Teachers: APST 3: Plan for and implement effective teaching and learning
The National Quality Standard: QA1: Educational program and practice
