Tracing the Why: Making Meaning Through Documentation

What meanings live within our documentation? Whose voices do we honour, and what images of children do we share? APST 3: Plan for and implement effective teaching and learning Presented by Adam Christie

Description

In this webinar, we will pause to reflect on the deeper purpose behind our documentation practices. Through gentle dialogue, we’ll explore the everyday moments that shape our work and how documentation can become a practice of listening, meaning-making, and connection. Together, we’ll consider how to move beyond ‘just doing’, reframing documentation as an intentional, reflective, and possibility-rich process.

Completing Tracing the Why: Making Meaning Through Documentation may contribute one-hour of PD that aligns with the NESA (NSW) approved criteria and addresses:

The Australian Professional Standards for Teachers: APST 3: Plan for and implement effective teaching and learning

Early Years Learning Framework Learning Outcomes: Outcome 5: Children are effective communicators

The National Quality Standard: QA 1: Educational program and practice
