INSPIRE 2025: Early Bird Registrations Now Open

I am new to…documenting children’s learning

Presented by Anthony Semann

Description

The ‘I Am New To…’ collection of webinars is designed to assist teachers and educators who are new to the profession. I am new to…documenting children’s learning explores the why and how of documentation. There are many steps to documenting learning, including observing, analysing and then writing your documentation. These steps are closely linked to the cycle of planning. When you work through the cycle, you are more likely to ensure you covering all bases – not missing any important steps. In this webinar, you will be supported to know how to write documentation and what you might include in this. So, if you are new to documenting children’s learning or want a reminder on how to document, then this webinar is for you.

Completing I am new to…documenting children’s learning may contribute one hour of PD that aligns with the NESA (NSW) criteria for Elective PD and addresses:

The Australian Professionals Standards for Teachers: APST 2: Know the content and how to teach it

Early Years Learning Framework Learning Outcomes: Outcome 4: Children are confident and involved learners

The National Quality Standard: QA 1: Educational program and practice
