Collaborative leadership and the EYLF – What does it mean for service leaders and educational leaders

Presented by Anthony Semann & Dr Red Ruby Scarlet

Description

Anthony Semann and Dr. Red Ruby Scarlet dance with the wonderful new Principle of ‘collaborative leadership’. In this webinar they will share the way ideas that shape pedagogy (from Page 13) are reflected in ‘relational pedagogies’. These beautiful creative ideas create what we call ‘withships’ (Scarlet, 2020) between children, educators, places and spaces and the broader community. Anthony and Red share examples of how rich relationships can be developed that gear towards self managing teams where all of the elements of togetherness, deep listening and pedagogical responsiveness support educative collectives to thrive.

Completing Collaborative leadership and the EYLF - What does it mean for service leaders and educational leaders may contribute one-hour of PD that aligns with the NESA (NSW) criteria for Elective PD and addresses:

The Australian Professionals Standards for Teachers: APST 6: Engage in professional learning

Early Years Learning Framework Learning Outcomes: Outcome 2: Children are connected and contribute to their world

The National Quality Standard: QA 7: Governance and leadership
