Presented by Anthony Semann
Description
Do you ever say to your colleagues, ‘I’m new to documentation - how do I start this journey?' It is a question many teachers and educators ask of themselves and not always at the beginning of their careers. There is an art to documenting learning, and for many, this can be daunting. One part of this journey is knowing what to notice, how to capture this data, how to make sense of what you have seen, and how to link this to teaching content.
This webinar will provide participants with:
- knowledge on how to collect data to inform their documentation
- understanding of how to structure a piece of documentation
- the ability to bring a piece of documentation to life
Completing I'm new to documentation - how do I start this journey? may contribute one-hour of PD that aligns with the NESA (NSW) criteria for Elective PD and addresses:
The Australian Professional Standards for Teachers: APST 5: Assess, provide feedback and report on student learning
The Early Years Learning Framework: Learning Outcome 4: Children are confident and involved learners
The National Quality Standard: QA1
