Presented by Philip Butler Everything there is to know about reflection—learn about reflective practices, reflection and critical reflection
Description
This webinar aims to introduce you to the reflective practice cycle. We will explore what should be reflected upon and the documentation requirements for our reflections. We will also discuss how our reflections can lead to deeper insights into our beliefs and practices. In the past, reflective thinking has been seen as an ‘add-on’ or a task that teams put off until the end. Learn about the difference between a reflection and a critical reflection and how to incorporate these practices into your continuous improvement process, both individually and as a team.
Completing What am I meant to be reflecting on, and when am I meant to do it may contribute one hour of PD that aligns with the NESA (NSW) criteria for Elective PD and addresses:
The Australian Professionals Standards for Teachers: APST 3: Plan for and implement effective teaching and learning
The National Quality Standard: QA1: Educational program and practice
