Learn how to plan environments for 2-3-year-olds that promote exploration, independence, and social interaction. APST 3: Plan for and implement effective teaching and learning Presented by Philip Butler
Description
Together, we will focus on planning for the learning and development of 2-3-year-olds, emphasising creating environments that promote exploration, independence, and social interaction. We will explore essential developmental milestones such as language development, motor skills, and emotional regulation and how to design play-based activities that encourage curiosity, problem-solving, and early self-expression while fostering positive social interactions. Practical strategies will be shared to support each child’s growth, ensuring a holistic approach to early childhood development.
