Presented by Stephen Gallen

Description

In version 2 of the EYLF ‘Sustainability’ is featured as one of the fundamental underlying Principles.  This 2 part series will explore and unpack just what is involved, and how it can be embedded in practice - leaving you empowered and inspired to work together with children to make a real difference to our world now, and for generations to come.

Part 1: Centring our exploration on children as active citizens who can make a significant contribution to their world we will explore the meaning and scope of Sustainability in the context of the EYLF and unpack the three pillars : Environmental, Social and Economic sustainbility. We will consider just how these might look in practice and how we can enable and empower children’s voices to make a contribution.
